Parmesan Rice Pilaf

PREP/TOTAL TIME:  10 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Small Onion, chopped
2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoon of Butter
1 boil-in-bag Brown Rice
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

Substitutes:
1 cup uncooked Instant Rice
1 teaspoon Beef Bouillon Granules

Quick & Easy Steps

  • In a small saucepan, saute onion in butter until TENDER.
  
  • STIR in the rice, water, bouillon, garlic powder & pepper.
  • Bring to a BOIL. 
  • REMOVE from heat.
  • COVER & let stand for 5 Minutes.
  • STIR in grated Parmesan cheese.

Perfect, Easy Side Dish
