(A Quick Fix!)
PREP/TOTAL TIME: 15 mins.
Ingredients:
1/4 small yellow onion (chopped)
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1-1/4 cups water
1 package couscous w/ toasted pine nuts (5.6 ounces)
1-1/2 teaspoons chicken flavoring (bouillon granules can be used)
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Quick & Easy Steps
- ADD garlic, cook 1 minute longer.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine the water, contents of seasoning packet from the couscous mix, chicken flavoring & remaining oil.
That looks good! We've been making lots of tabouleh with whole wheat couscous, which sounds a lot like this!
